BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROGRAM

The project aims to develop new materials and innovative products for the construction and infrastructure sector, characterized by the presence of rubber granules from the recycling of end-of-life tires (ELTs).

The innovative materials that are intended to be produced through innovative processes and the new products that will result from additional researches, will have improved performance and costs that tend to be lower than the corresponding products currently used in the sector.

Fai Instruments will manage the development of technologies suitable for sampling and evaluation of the "particulate" material released into the atmosphere.

The environmental impact that the material derived from the production processes could have, material that will be in the form of particulate matter and that will need evaluation by means of sampling technologies and dimensional physical characterization, will be studied.

This activity will require the use of adequate instrumentation both for a particle size characterization and for subsequent evaluation and interpretation of the data.
